Magical Songs :)

Music has a wonderful role to play in our lives. One of the beautiful forms of art which helps you express your feelings when you are unable to do so with your words. We have a song for every emotion or occassion which makes these things even more beautiful. These songs give more meaning to such moments that we cherish for lifetime.
Some songs touch your soul. Some leave you stirred. Below is the list of my favourite songs which leave an impact on me or I feel are the best to express certain emotions or feelings.

Song that explains the essence of life:
Ek din bik jaayega. Maati ke mol.. jag mein reh jaayenge pyaare tere bol. Duje ke hothonko dekar apne geet. Koi nishaani chhod

Beautiful Song. Just the few beginning lines capture the basic essence of life. Its indeed only our words that we leave behind and nothing else. And we are casual about it. Often we don’t think before we say something. We don’t realize that words can hurt as much as they can love.

When you are extremely Happy and don’t knw what to do…
Aaj mai upar.. aasmaan neeche.. from the movie khamoshi…
Crazy and funky song .. to dance .. as if nobody is watching :)

The love songs :
Romantic Rain Song- Rimjhim gire sawaan.

When the hearts flutter,.. initial stages of love- Doob jaana re .. mujhko doob jaana re.. Tere paas aana re.. mujhko doob jaana re. From the movie Main Meri Patni aur Woh

Few years later… when u need to express your love. No other song can beat this one.

Tere bin Jeena nahi.. oo meri jaane wafa.. tere bin jeena nahi.. oo meri jaane wafa.. zindagi bhar saath rehkar… mujhe hona nahi hai juda.. tu mili toh mujhe mil gayi zindagi ki har khushiii…jism mai hun meri jaan hai tu.. bin tere main kuch nahi. Kahe kya.. sunn zaraa.. aati jaati saanso ki sadaa.. By Bali Brahmbhatt

Please Forgive me - By Bryan Adams is the best when you are really sorry.

And when one fine day you grow old – this is the perfect song to sing for your loved one- You Are Still the One by Shania Twain.

The song that motivates me.. allows me to dream
Roobaroooooo... Roshni... dhua utha.. khula gagan mera.. nayi subah... naya dagar mera...

And the song that makes me beleive in myself ( This song from the movie Lakshya gives me goose bumps everytime i listen to it.)

Haan yehi rasta hai tera.. tune ab jaana hai.. haan yehi sapna hai teraa.. tunee pehchana hai..
Roke tujhe aandhiyan.. kya zameen aur kya aasman...
paayega jo Lakshya hai tera..
Lakshya toh har haal mein paana hai..

Apart from the awesome music and motivating lyrics , the way this song is picturised is beautiful.. just love this song totally...

Finally the songs that brings tears to my eyes everytime:Heal the World and Chanda Suraj by AR Rehman and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan..

There is a place in your heart and I know that it is love
And If you Really try , you will find there is no need to cry.
There are ways to get there. If you care enough for the living.
Make a little space.. make a better place..

Heal the World..
Make it a better place
For you and for me and the entire Human race

Gurus of Peace- Chanda Suraj Laakhon Taarein Hai
hai jab tere liye hi saare
kis baat pe hoti hai fir takraare.
Kheenchi hai Lakeerein is zameen
par na kheecho Dekho beech mein do dilon ke deewarein

Ishq dawa hai har ek dard ki. Ishq saari haddon ko tod daale.
Ishq hai jo saare jahaan ko aman bhi de.
Raunak Ishq se hai saare alaam ki.

These two songs emote the feeling of love so strongly and so beautifully.. and make us beleive that through love we can some day think of peace .. maybe world peace..

Finally few lines from the song Mustafa Mustafa from Duniya Diwalon Ki,
This song has all what i beleive in life or follow to enjoy my life to the hilt.. A very beautiful song about friendship and life.

few of my fav lines
Yeh Aasman hai kya
Ek panchi ke aage
Saagar yeh kya hai yaara machli ke aage
Tu bas hanste hi Jaa
Har pal muskaate jaa
Fir Gham ki Hasti kya yaara tere aage

Jeevan toh Gaadi hai.. isko toh Chalna hai...
Raahon mein station toh aate hai jaate hai.. kab tera station hai..
isko toh jaana hai
chalta chal
khushiyon ka bhi station aana hai... :)

So true isnt it???

The long pending plans were finally turned into reality on 4th of April 2009.We ( I and Dan) had decided no matter what happens We ARE going on the bike Ride this time... :)and We DID!!!
We decided to have an early start to the day. We were up by 5: 30.
Raring to go by 6.30.
At the onset we decided to name ourselves the Jodi'es. ( aka Roadies ishtyle ) .. Check out our sexy companions.
Dan and anu on the pulsar.... I and veenu on my Blaze.. :)

Oopppsss where is my Babe???
Aah here she is... My darling veenu :)

The destination was decided. Aarey Milk Colony. There is something magical about this place. It is a heaven within Mumbai. Totally unlike the the crazy city it is situtated in. It has a calm and peaceful environment which relaxes you. All I do when I m here is Smile.. I feel sooo happy just being here that I cant stop smiling... (especially during the winters the weather out here is simply amazing ).

Objective: To explore the arterial roads in aarey milk colony..

The excitement of going on our first bike ride was thrilling.. Though it as bit warm the ride was exhilarating. We reached the Aarey Milk Colony in perfect time to watch the sun rise through the hills. The beautiful scene made us stop and just experience the beautiful moment.

We moved on exploring the arterial roads. most lead to small villages inside. We felt as if we have reached a totaly different place. It didnt seem like mumbai at all.

Going off Road :)...

One of the beautiful shots taken by our photographer in the making- Dr Anupama Kotian...

Dan's School Friends :)

Our sexy bikes together relaxing as we enjoyed our cutting chai... adrak wali...

So long.... Till our next biking Expedition.. :)...
